My photo diary of a walking holiday
on the Island of Rum. Our group, comprising
seven walkers from Dumfries including two oldies, left
Dumfries in the early morning of Friday 22nd June, 2001
and arrived in Malliag in time for the daily ferry to
Rum. |
Tidal conditions dicated that Canna
should be the first port of call. Mallaig to Rum,
normally taking about two hours, was stretched to
four. We all enjoyed the unexpected bonus of excellent
views of Rum and Canna on a bright afternoon. |
